This place is great! We stopped here for lunch while vacationing in North Myrtle Beach. Had read reviews about it and bookmarked it. So glad we stopped. My husband and I shared the smaller pizza with two toppings and a Gyro sandwich. The pizza was super yummy and cheesy! Piping hot when it came to the table! Gyro sandwich was good but if I had to go back...we would have ordered the larger pizza. It was super good! Service was great and they were really quick. Our waitress was the only one working at the time and during our time there she had seven tables. She handed everyone beautifully. Was very impress! Stop by if you have a chance. Great food, service and value!

Never have had a bad meal here ! Best pizza on the beach. We have had pizza , subs and the baked spaghetti is out of this world ! The decor is old but the good is great ! Of you are looking for something other than seafood this is your best bet !

White pizza was very good. Fried zucchini was average, appeared frozen. The dining experience was loud and chaotic. Better to take out than dine in.

First time I have been to Kings Famous Pizza! I thought that it had decent appetizers, great pizza, and good service. I would recommend it to anyone who is searching for a place to eat pizza. It's also not far from great attractions at the beach!

Took our family here for dinner. Other places had an hour wait, but we were seated immediately in the lively restaurant. It had the feel of an old burger joint, so the decor is not exciting. The pizza is great. I recommend the house dressing, which was fantastic. Our server was incredibly busy but always kept our drinks full. We left very satisfied. A great casual experience.

It looks like a little whole in the wall but the food was fantastic! Though my only complaint would be that the small pizza is very small. Service was fantastic and the deserts where to die for. I highly recommend the Manicotti, Large Vegterian Pizza, and Baklava.

The best beach pizza ever! We had the vegetarian pizza with chicken ironic I know the staff was friendly and helpful! I have been coming to Myrtle Beach with my Family for the past 10 years and kings pizza is always a favorite!

The pizzas are good, but ordinary. I may just be partial to NY style pizzas, so take this for what its worth. The pizza was just oven baked with your standard homemade dough and a slightly sweet sauce. Nothing about their pizza really stood out. I noticed canned mushrooms. As I grow older, ive come to realize that there is no such thing as a bad pizza, just fair (kids video arcade pizza) to extraordinarily superior (fresh homemade toppings, standout crust, perfectly balance sauce). To me, excellent pizza has a brick or coal oven cooked crust with that smoky charred taste and the sauce is perfectly balanced. And toppings should be fresh. Ive got to stop writing now...my oven timer just went off for my frozen pizza.

Tried King's for the first time this year on vacation. No need to make this review lengthy; the stars speak for themselves... It was excellent. We ordered white pizza, cheese pizza, garlic bread with cheese, and a small side salad (the house dressing was amazing). The food was very good and the price was very reasonable.

We have been going to kings for years now. The pizza is more of a Greek style and is delicious. This is a very casual and laid back spot that never disappoints. Pizza, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers all hit the mark. By far this is the best pizza on highway 17 in the grand strand area.

I'm a Jersey girl, I know my pizza. I can honestly say this this is the best I've found in the area. I LOVE vacationing in Myrtle beach, but Italian ANYTHING can seem hopeless in the south. I'm not going to say that this is the best pizza ever. In the north this pizza would get an A-OK 3 stars, but it's definitely really good considering the area. Haven't had any of the other food, but if you're craving a pie this is your place.

    (4)
  • Denise M.

Pizza is average at best. It is a thin crust pizza. Meatball sandwich was excellent and other sandwiches sounded great. Spaghetti and meatballs- meatballs were big and good. Sauce is on the sweet side. Waitress was nice

  • Jo K.

A lot of hype for mediocre pizza. In business for 40 years and a lot of people said great pizza...evidently, they haven't traveled much, because this was just OK and no better.

  • Jason C.

Kings is very good. I've been bringing the family for years. No frills, just great pizza. Excellent cheese. Service has always been good.

The cheese pizza was fantastic. Yummy to sum it up. Good place to eat with good service as well.

Great food, okay service (this time-usually it's better) and easy to get in and out of in July at Myrtle Beach...We love Kings Pizza! We walked right in on a Monday night with 8 people and no wait...YAY! I had the pita and tzatziki sauce appetizer and the sauce was FABULOUS! I also had the vegetarian pizza minus black olives and it was great! I took a star for the poor service, but the food was five star for sure! Will definitely be back next visit!

  • Lauren H.

We've only ever gotten take-out pizza from here but it's consistently great. The Zorba's greek pizza is melt-in-your-mouth good if you like olives!

  • Travis W.

A staple for pizza in Myrtle this place brings back memories of my childhood and when my parents and I would come to eat. The pizza itself is ok, nothing great but it's ok, the vintage feel of the place and the service delivered to the table makes up for all of that. If you are in the area and looking for a quick bite, pop in!

  • Michael C.

First time I eat here was 30yrs ago, It was good than.Over the yrs with the kids growing up a visit now an then it was always good. You come to an area with more places to dine you can't hit them all in a year or too. Kings Famous Pizza has been one of our go to's for pizza. The crust is light and airy. The toppings fresh. A good sauce. Our house special came loaded, one of the toppings where red onions which I thought when cooked added to the over all flavor. Our service was good, glasses never went empty. Ive never had any of the subs or wraps or the pasta. Very seldom do I eat spaghetti in a resturant we like what we make at home.[sorry] We are looking forward to our next visit. Hope it's not long!!

  • Paul B.

Restaurant atmosphere is old and dated, but pizza is good. Not on par with a good NY pie or Chicago deep dish, but good nonetheless. The Greek pizza was considered very good by my family and the pepperoni was just good - not bad, not great, just good. The service was very good and quick time between ordering and food delivery.

I have been going to Kings Famous Pizza since I was a little kid. Now, I am a big kid and I am still going. Within the past month, I've been maybe four times when I've had company visit and the food is almost always consistently wonderful. I've had pizza, subs and salads while dining here in the past and they're always fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend this be a place to stop for a bite to eat if you're visiting the beach or if you're a local like me.

we followed others recommendations on yelp and went to check out the food. Our waiter was pretty hilarious, up until our food came. Weird part, he never showed us their desert tray - which he did to others around us....so did female waitress across from our table - other than that - it was great. My wife had a pizza sub and i had spaghetti and meatballs. Sweet tea was sweet. portions were on the high side. Affordable and decent food for the price. I think we were under 25$ out the door w/ Tip. Take the family, bring your kids. Great affordable and quality food. Truly an Italian owned local business.

  • Suzanne L.

Great pizza! Their Greek dressing is so good I could drink it! Yum!!! Good thing they sell it! Will definitely eat here again & again & again!

  • Michael L.

We've been here dozens of times and never once had a bad meal or bad service. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs is the best I've had in any restaurant, and the pizza is the best around. Not very fancy, but who cares with this great food.

My family I are vacationing for the week. On our first night of arrival we stopped at king's to eat. It looked like a clean fun place to eat. It was cute Inside but we didn't enjoy our pizza at all. We ordered mozzarella sticks and zucchini sticks as appetizers, they were pretty good, but the pizza? The pizza was a hot mess. We ordered two small pizzas. One was a pepperoni and the other was veggie. The crusts on both were not crisp enough, the sauce was without any flavor and on the thin side. The cheese was nothing special just a big blob sitting on top of the pie. The waitress was nice as well as the gentleman who cashed us out. I live I n NJ and work In Manhattan and eat a lot of pizza. This pizza didn't tastes like NY style or Chicago style. Sorry but we only ate the crust and left the rest, and even still, the crust wasn't that good it was basically the only part we decided eat. My sis said her chicken parm was alright but nothing special.

I'd been by this place a thousand times before I decided to stop in with the family. The outside just looked like a circus to me. I thought nothing good could come from it. Wrong! Though a little aged, this is possibly the cleanest and most well kept restaurants I'd ever been to. Seriously, they must clean this place from top to bottom twice a week. You can also tell how well cared for the place is. Nothing looked broken, scuffed, worn or out of place. It was like stepping back in time about 30 years. The food and service matched it's keeping. While not a $50 a plate fine dinning experience, this place is absolutely perfect for weekly family dinning. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are large. Lasagna and pasta dishes are fantastic! We've been a couple of times, and it may become a regular stop for us during the summer.

As long as I've been visiting North Myrtle beach, this place has never let me down. Our house is just a couple blocks away, so it's easy to call in our order & jump on the golf cart to pick it up. We ordered 2 large pizzas this weekend, one with cheese & one with pepperoni and mushrooms. Both were piping hot from the oven when we picked them up. They are made well, with lots of toppings and delicious house-made sauce. We also always get their hot Ham & Cheese sandwich with a side of their house dressing. So stinkin' good, loaded with ham/cheese/tomatoes/onions/lettuce. If you're in the area and looking for a go-to pizza joint, check out King's!!

  • Cindy H.

Starrving and needed some good pizza, this was pretty good, coming from Chicago we have high aspirations, wasn't top ten of my life, but certainly was good, fast service, and friendly! We had pizza and onions rings, which were cooked perfectly!

    (4)
  • Jim R.

3.5 stars. Came here for take out pizza since we are staying near. We got 2 large pizza's. The pizza's were smaller than back home. Nothing was wrong with the pizza- but nothing made it really good either. I would come back here mostly just to stay away from the chains-

    (4)
  • Kathleen P.

In our constant quest to avoid chains, we love going to local places. Every time we come to MB, our first dinner is always at King's. Their pizza is great. Cheese, sauce and toppings are put on right to the edge of the crust and perfectly baked on a not too thin, not too thick crust. Delicious! Subs are perfectly toasted and dressed. The House Italian dressing is good and they a generous with it-leaving a bottle of it on your table. The pasta looks great, although we are such a fan of the subs and pizza, we haven't tried the pasta. Service is always prompt, attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

  • Chris S.

I'm not a fan of Pizza Hut style "factory" pizza so this was a welcome treat for us while on vacation. Nice taste with crust you'll eat! I would recommend a stop while you're in town and super fast!

06/23/10 Our party of five adults and one child was seated right away for a busy night (around 545p). I walked in and was seated right away. A few minutes later, the rest of our group had parked their cars came in to join me, and it was at least 10 minutes before our server came to ask for our drink orders. By that time, we already knew what we wanted, so we placed all of our selections then: glasses of water, soda, bottle of beer, glasses of sweet tea- which I changed to a pitcher when I heard how many wanted it; small "white pizza," small cheese pizza, and a large four-topping pizza (tomatoes, banana peppers, pepperoni, and sausage); chicken wings, and a large Greek salad (w/ ham). We also had a slice of chocolate cake. (Thought I'd mention here that I soon went up to the front to ask a staff member if cornmeal was used in or on their crusts, but I was able to ask our server himself, and he said no-- this was when I first noticed he seemed annoyed.) Our server (ticket said "B-n," but he didn't respond to "Ben") arrived with our water, beer, and soda and four glasses of tea-- when I said "Oh, but we ordered a pitcher," he snapped, gave me an open, five-fingered gesture (in front of my face), and harshly said "I'm giving you a pitcher," and walked away. I said, "Oh, okay. I'm sorry," bec. I didn't want him to think I was irritated, or anything. But really... was that necessary? It was another 15 minutes before he brought over our salad (sans house dressing, or so we thought), a red condiment bottle, and our chicken wings. We all divvied up the salad, but wondered where the dressing was. Our server came back with our pizzas about 5 minutes later, and we requested for house dressing, more blue cheese dressing, and some ranch dressing. He soon arrived w/ the blue cheese and ranch dressings, but then came over to my side of the table (but about a foot and a half away from me), lifted the red bottle, and, as he quickly set it back down, said "Here's your house dressing," and walked away. We all thought it was ketchup, since it was in a red bottle... My white pizza was delicious! It came w/ mozzarella, lovely ricotta (a topping that did NOT appear on their toppings' list, so I was very happy to see "white pizza" listed as a menu item), oregano, garlic, and olive oil. Too bad the crust wasn't crispy at all -the ends, where people usually grip their pizza slices, were SLIGHTLY crispy, but not for long. (If you like doughy pizzas, come here! I'm a thin-crust lover- the thinner and crispier, the better!) Their large four-topping pizza looked amazing (everyone had double and triple servings of this!), the chicken wings looked and smelled wonderful, and I'm told the plain cheese pizza was equally tasty. My sis, her hubby, their son, and her step-son love this pizzeria! She loves the red sauce topping the pizzas (they're not too picky about the crusts). The slice of chocolate cake was PERFECT! Well, perfect for everyone but Mom (who likes a cake-ier cake, whereas we sisters like a fudgier cake), and the hubby and step-son (who weren't feeling like having dessert). It wasn't very sweet at all (sis and Mom complained that the chocolate cake from BJ's- think Costco and Sam's Club, but smaller- was too sweet!). I'd order it again! OK pizza, if you're willing to overlook the non-crispy crusts, but terrible service (BIL & I thought perhaps our server was having a bad day-- he said that the rest of the servers seemed OK, and we had the lousy server in the house). I'd be willing to go back, since the sandwiches look terrific (the oven-toasted bread looked amazing AND crispy!) and have another slice of chocolate cake (other desserts included plain and turtle cheesecake; and German chocolate, black forest, and carrot cakes). Let's just hope we get a server who's having a good day...

Perfection. Well with a few exceptions. You can't compare SC pizza with NJ's finest. Crust is probably what they like here, doughy and bready. White doughy bread with pizza ingredients atop. But the sauce has good flavor, the cheese is real, (I saw the shredded mozzarella on the counter). Tastes like something I would expect at a chain pizza place. The large pizza weighed like 40% more than the brick oven place down the street (see my review there) and we discovered it was due to their generous portion of cheese. If you are hungry, after a morning on the beach, with hungry kids, this place will satisfy. If you are looking for great pizza, go to NJ or Chicago.

  • Walter S.

This is our go to place for a satisfying sub or pizza. The Italian and Greek entrees that we have tried are all very good as well. The eggplant pizza is something you don't find everywhere and a favorite of my family. Booths feel like a fast food place but service is great. We keep a menu in the car and almost order take out. We are never disappointed.

Great oven roasted subs and the homemade dressing is GREAT. A little pricey compared to the chains, but a good place.

Been coming to Kings since I was a kid in the late '70s. It's a real NMB tradition that can't be beat. Don't miss the white pizza, gyros and Greek salad. Hands down best za in the Horry County\Brunswick County area.

  • Mike C.

Stopped here after an early movie for a quick dinner on a cloudy day. While I do not expect too much in the South for pizza, honestly some frozen pizza is just as good. It was edible, but that was about it. My wife had a chicken parm sandwich which was very short on chicken. This is a place where you can feed a large family for a reasonable price. Our waitress was very helpful and cheerful.

  • Reba T.

Great place for a family meal and reasonably priced. I have returned several times and each time I ordered a different entree. The pizzas are very good, not like the big chains. Also, try the beef Gyro, that's my favorite. Save a little room for dessert.

I lived in Myrtle Beach for several years, and after a hurricane King's was always the first place of business to reopen. Eating pizza by kerosene lamp is an amazingly comforting feeling.

Pizza and Ravioli was great. So hard to find good pizza now days. Old juke box for music was great.

  • Annie M.

Yum. Every time we come to Myrtle Beach we have to eat at Kings. The pizza has a thin crispy crust, yummy flavor... can't figure out what they use but its got a great blend. Love love love.

  • Kim J.

Best food we've had in Myrtle Beach! Their homemade sauce it's amazing. Loved their prices, friendly people, had a great experience. :) If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, you've gotta stop here!

    (5)
  • Sumner B.

The worst food we have EVER had! The fried eggplant with pasta and meat sauce was very old, soggy tasteless eggplant and pasta was hard with awful meat sauce on it. We couldnt even eat it and wished we had just LEFT the restaurant. The pizza actually had canned mushrooms and pineapple on it and the center area of the pizza was so undercooked that it just fell off onto the plate, like eating uncooked dough. Looking back, we should have told the manager that we would not be eating the food and finished our beer and left.

I lived in NMB for 13 years and grew up eating at King's Famous Pizza. Every time I come to Myrtle Beach, I make a special trip to King's Pizza for their delicious pizza, Italian Sub, & Greek Salad. Their house dressing is addictive- so much so that I had to buy a bottle of it to take back with me to New York.

  • Gary S.

This is one of those "always" go to places in Myrtle Beach. Good pizza, good service and good prices. You can't go wrong with Pizza from this place. The sauce is flavorful without being too spicy. All toppings are fresh and tasty. My wife always likes to order the side salad. Not because the salad is so great, it's not all that special really. It's the house dressing that she loves. The house dressing is homemade, and our best guess is that there is some combination of mustard, mayo, sugar, oil and some other spices... it is ADDICTIVE! Go to Kings, order the pizza... you won't be disappointed. This is from a guy who has eaten Pizza all over the world... and I'm still looking for the perfect pie.

  • Teresa V.

We decided to try King's after reading the reviews on Yelp. Should've known better when we drove up and the place had a huge yellow sign with red letters advertising pizza and gyros. We were greatly disappointed. Had better frozen pizza. Observed several unsanitary practices as well, such as staff using bare hands to fill a cup with ice then take drink to customer; staff cutting lemons with no gloves, picking up lemons with bare hands and dropping in huge bucket with more lemons; and nasty windows.

    (1)
  • Paddy R.

Avoid the chain pizza joints. This place isn't fancy but but the pizza and subs are very good and reasonably priced.

I just went on a suggestion, they have everything to go. I went for the homemade cannoli. They are great! Italian and Greek food. I like the family atmosphere. Staff were quick and helpful. I will be visiting again.

  • Hien N.

We used to come here every week, or maybe twice a week :). I usually got the steak and mushroom or pepper sub (don't remember what it's called), they were very good. Spaghetti was tasty. Pizzas were okay, but not my favorite, though.

  • Kathrn H.

We were looking for pizza. Being raised up north I am used to a certain type of pizza. The dough may be thin but crispy. I have dined at Greek/ Italian places and not enjoyed the pizza at all. In my experience it's had very soft dough and sometimes downright mushy. Another in my party picked this restaurant. I didn't have high hopes for the pizza. It's a family dining place. It's not upscale casual setting. Booths are like the pizza places and what not, which is fine. We weren't looking for high end. We walked in and the host, possibly owner/manager was very nice. The waitress was very nice. Quick service. All seemed to run well. Food came out hot. Pizza was soft but not mushy. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed most a group of people doing a great job. Highly recommend.

A good pizza place. We have had pizza here a couple of times, dragged some family members along the second time. Not a posh place at all - we also grab a dessert to go!

  • Ryan M.

Pretty good pizza, the crust isn't too hard or soft... Just right. Overall it's not the worst and it's not the best

  • Danny C.

My wife and I ate there last night and thought it was great. Very good pizza and very good service. It kind of had that Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives feel. Great food in one of those places that non-locals pass by. I won't pass it by the next time I'm in Myrtle Beach and neither should you.

    (4)
  • Michelle B.

Went there based on other Yelp reviews. The decor and building is nothing fabulous, very worn down inside. Huge hole in the ceiling. The food was good. Big portions and tasty. The veggies pizza was loaded with veggies. Very inexpensive compared to other MB restaurants. Great place to take a big family on a budget.

  • One G.

Almost A+, the pizza was great, especially the pizza sauce! I have to order more pizza sauce and they charged me $1.50 for a 3 oz worth of pizza sauce, which really is quite annoying. The waitress was kind of hard to understand and the environment leaves a lot to be desire. BUT just for the pure pizza sauce taste! It's excellent!

  • Gene G.

Good and tasty food. My favorite is their Italian Sausage sub.

  • Erin S.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. We're headed down to Myrtle Beach for a company Christmas party next month and then in February for my birthday and I can't stop thinking about King's pizza. I would probably make the 2 hour round-trip drive just to eat this pizza. It's really hard to explain how great this pizza is. It's not greasy, the sauce is great and they have lots of super-stringy cheese. Oh, so good. Plus, they have root beer! How could life be better??

    (5)
  • Wes D.

This place was great up until my order of manicotti was in front of me. Their sauce tastes like someone dumped a bag of sugar into it. Nasty! I couldn't even finish my meal. My girlfriend enjoyed her chicken gyro. I won't be going back.

    (1)
  • Shawn D.

I'll start with the service, which was excellent. Garlic bread, better off without it. Pizza was good for a good price

    (4)
  • Amiee S.

How in the world did this get so many stars? Okay, we didn't get pizza so maybe that's the only thing good here. We all had the gyros and they were disgusting. Pretty sure they heat up frozen slices of old gyro meat, cause I had never seen meat that uniform in size and color. Did I say it was Gross? And not sure why we didn't stop there, maybe we were hungry and thought who could screw up dessert? THIS PLACE! Cheesecake was inedible. I had chocolate cake that was apparently left over from a couple of weeks ago, it was OLD and also inedible. And it's hard to believe that we didn't see the prices of those nasty desserts before we ordered them! For what it cost 3 of us to have a sandwich and 2 desserts we could've had steak and lobster! Ridiculous! Never going back, not even to try the pizza.

  • Mark R.

Pizza is a bit subjective. First things that are important, sauce, cheese and crust. The sauce is a light sweet sauce. Very mild and fresh. The crust is thin and finished out of the pan. Really good homemade taste and texture. The cheese comes out nice and browned. Real cheese not fake stuff. I picked up two pizzas. One the extra special (deluxe with extra cheese) lots of cheese, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onions, and green pepper. Everything was great together veggies had a crispness to them. The other pepperoni and extra cheese. Again cheese was awesome and brown. Definitely worth picking up rather then delivery roulette.

After reading some not so pleasant reviews, we were hesitant to try this place, but our love for pizza won. We decided to give it a try at 8:30 on a weds evening. We were greeted and sat quickly. Our server took our drink order and in no time we had our drinks. We tried garlic cheese bread for an appetizer, wasn't bad but could stand more cheese. We had the 10" meat pizza, and it was just shy of amazing!! Toppings piled high and plenty of cheese, done perfect, not burnt...just right. So for pizza, an app and 2 drinks, we waddled out for just over $20. They also have alcohol, including beer on tap! A must try for pizza lovers!

  • Christina D.

Affordable and delicious! Our group sampled a variety of some of the best Greek and Italian foods we've ever eaten. Everything we ordered was delicious (except the turkey sandwich, which was good just not the best I've had of that style) We sampled spanakopita (best I've ever had) meatballs (large and moist with good complex flavors) baklava, chocolate cheesecake, hot turkey sandwich, meatball and green pepper sandwich, and of course...pizza. The staff was courteous and friendly. Just about everything is homemade. From families to a couple on a weekend retreat; this place is a great one to try!

Family run pizzeria with a touch of Greek Delicious B&Q wings, tasty pizza, friendly service and good value.

  • Renee S.

It's was ok. We ordered a Greek salad and it was shredded lettuce on a plate with a few green peppers, black olives, red onions and a few grape tomatoes...and came with their house dressing which was very mayonaissey. The pizza was decent, thin hand roses crust with a sweet sauce. Wasn't be best pizza I ever had, I'm originally from NJ so great pizza is hard to find if outside of NJ, but it wasn't the worst pizza either. Now the carrot cake on the other hand was INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommend it!!

Ok... It's late June in Myrtle Beach and its 90 degrees. You would think they would have better AC. A little warm for my liking but we are hungry and want pizza so we stay. Our waiter is extremely pleasant...(Jeff) and the pizza is ok. Nothing special but not bad. Actually the crust is pretty tasty. Overall, I'd give it 2 stars but Jeff bumped it up to 3 stars. If the AC was working better I might have given it 3.5 to 4 stars because we had a great time. I will say that I'd probably try another pizza place since there seems to be such a selection down here Mrytle Beach the next time.

  • Christie Ly G.

Amazing!!! Fast and friendly. Be sure to chK out the menu before ordering... It's prob worth repeat visits during the week just to try aLL of the items out. I should have grabbed the garlic bread and wings !!! The dessert cabinet is amazing; I'm sure in the evening a dessert and coffee is a pure treat. Note: they don't deliver. But the drive and the staff are worth seeing. *** and dont forget to grab your crushed red pepper before leaving...or the cup of ranch for dipping sauce.

Good but not for the wallet. Food was good and sandwiches are big enough to share. The interior is not updated but is clean and that gives it a nostalgic look.

Best spaghetti ever. Period. The meat sauce is slightly sweet and rich. Their world famous pizza is also good, but I think the spaghetti steals the show. Service is friendly and courteous, although our order did seem to take a little longer than other guests' to arrive at the table. Overall a great casual dining experience!

This shop is going to get a five star from me. In order to do that there needs to be a combination of great food and great service topped off with that little something extra that sets them apart. We fed 13 people, and each pizza was spot on. We trusted the Yelp nation, and they did not disappoint. The Meat Lovers was one of the best I've had. In our group, no one rated any of the 4 options we got less that an 8, and most were 9s & 10s. The toppings were so generous that a couple of the kids in our group asked what all that white stuff was on top. That's a serious amount of cheese. Even after I picked them up and drove the five minutes back to the hotel, the pieces were still so hot we could hardly hold them. Great food is nice when you have a great service on top of that it's memorable. I'm glad I found this spot early in the week, I think I will be going back. Truth is, I'm planning on it.

Have wanted to eat here for years and finally got to try King's Famous Pizza and I was not disappointed! Real authentic pizza with crust and cheese that you just don't get in chain pizzas. We had a 16 inch with pepperoni, beef, and onions and it was only 16.25! The REAL mozzarella was so ooey and gooey and had long strings of cheese as you pulled off slices! WOW just so good. I will not with another 30 years before I eat at King's again. Great for families with children.

Very good food at very reasonable prices...service acceptable. My pizza was perfect, not at all like the common chain restaurants. Will eat here again.

We eat here several times each visit to NMB - owners are very nice people and the food is terrific - the best pizza anywhere!

Great spot for lunch! The food is really cheap and they make pizza the right way. I also had a sub the next day for lunch and it may have been better than the pizza(which is saying something). Try the meatball sub.

So good! We usually go twice during the week we're there. The pizza and entrees are good, but the biggest winners are the house salad dressing and the desserts!

The first restaurant I went to when I first came to North Myrtle. It is a great little family-owned place. Friendly staff. The menu can be altered to fit your desires. I really enjoy the Greek chicken gyro, but sometimes I am in the mood for their delicious lasagna. Honestly everything here is delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

So good! You have to eat here while in MB. The pizza is amazing and the pasta is just as good. Save room for dessert! I had the turtle cheesecake and it was beyond words out of this world delicious !! Very friendly service too.

Wow, was this pizza good. We went because of the Yelp recommendations and they were spot on. Great fast service, friendly staff, local pizza joint with delicious food. My only wish is there was a King's back home! While we only ordered pizza, I can see where the spaghetti or lasagne would be good as well. Highly recommend King's and we will eat there again when we vacation here again.

Perfect from beginning to end. Homemade house dressing is great. Pizza was better! Spaghetti was great too! We all shared the chocolate cake and turtle cheesecake which were delish! Go! If you like local casual and good food!

Would give 0 stars, but there isnt an option for it. Pizza took upwards of an hour to get to us after ordering; the place is only half full! They kept telling us it would be out shortly, but that wasnt true! They didnt tell my friend that the 6 slice pizza would have considerably smaller slices than the 8, which left them quite frustrated . Seems like a bit of a cash grab if you ask me. Pizza was mediocre; the crust tasted like cardboard, and the cheese like rubber! Too little sauce, and the cardboard was greasier than a homeless mans hair! To sum things up, I wont be returning, and neither should you.

This is absolutely the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Or should I say tried to eat. I would have to say it tasted like a Chuckie Cheese pizza. We also ordered wings and they tasted like premade wings out of a box. Save your money and try a different establishment or come on up to Upstate NY, and we'll feed you awesome pizza and wings.

Awesomeness. We had a cheese, meat lovers/house special, and greek pizza. All had a generous helping of toppings and were all very tasty. We couldn't decide between the meat lovers and house special, so our server quickly suggested we do half and half. Brilliant! Pizza crust was just the right amount of crispiness and thickness. We have definitely found our beach pizza joint.

Delicious pizza - my husband and I stopped in last week for a bite on Sunday - the service was quick and courteous, and the food was yummy! We'll definitely be back when we're in NMB again!

This place is great. It is a hometown pizza joint. The sandwiches looked big and delicious. Great wait staff that keeps the place very clean. We had a large pepperoni pizza that was delicious.

Great place! Tasty pizza, super awesome service, cold Miller Lite on draft. Perfect combination.

Don't understand others high stars. Got a large pizza with olives and mushrooms. Taste/texture just like frozen pizza. Even the edge of the crust looked machine made. Mushrooms were canned, not fresh, which should have been explained. Wife wouldn't even eat it.

Pretty good pizza at a pretty good price. Not the best I've had but not the worst either. The subs and pasta coming out looked delicious. Family atmosphere.

Great pizza, fast friendly service and good cheesecake. One funny thing, I ordered a Corona and they served it with a chilled plastic mug that would not hold the entire beer, they also served it with a lemon, and told me they don't have limes and that Corona it traditionally served with lemons. No big deal but kinda funny.

The pizza was quick and easy to order. We enjoyed the flat thinish crust and the amount of toppings we got with the pizza

Pizza good/service great! King's Pizza is like stepping back to the 60's....cool in a nestalgik way. Pizza was okay/good. Salad we could have passed on. Two good things about this place: great for families, with loud kids. Server was very patient and accomodating for our rowdy crew. Also, the bill was under $30. We ordered 1 large and one medium pizza (half cheese/half pepperoni and black olives), one side salad (forgetable), 2 milks, and 1 beer. Cheapest meal we had. Nice for a change in pace from fried seafood!

This was excellent and well worth the price. The cheese sticks were garlic bread with provolone cheese and Italian seasoning on it. Very tasty. Kids got a cheese pizza nice crust and good flavor. We got a mushroom green pepper and Italian sausage pizza. Our pizza was completely different tasting from the cheese pizza. It had different cheese on it but was excellent and very flavorful. I would skip the desserts. The kids liked them. But I can make better at home. Get ice cream some place else. Decor wasn't much but food was great and reasonably priced

Great subs, pizza, and gyros. Give this place a shot the service was amazing too. We were in and out in less then 45 minutes and all the food was steaming hot out of the oven. Lots of local people go there to thanks fellow yelpers for letting me know about this hidden gem.

This place is an awesome "hole in the wall" location, that many tourists probably don't bother with. We started going here our first or second year in Myrtle, and have returned any time in the area since. The Italian combo sandwich is a favorite of my husband's. The pizza is awesome. The wings are also tasty. Definitely worth a stop for tourists or the random local who for some odd reason hasn't been there.

A good unique pizza that you can't get anywhere else. It sure beats major pizza chains. If you like a sweeter sauce, this is for you

Ordered take out and waited for it while it cooked. 2 larges, 1 combo and 1 meat lovers. Both pizzas were great, sauce and crust very fresh tasting. great pizza priced right, would go back in a heartbeat!! Restaurant nice and clean from what I saw while waiting...

So good. We had the white pizza. It was so awesome. We also had the pepperoni pizza. It was awesome. We also had the house Italian salad. It was very yummy. The also had great unsweetened ice tea. They even gave us drinks to go. We got 2 small pizzas and that was enough for a family of 4 with no leftovers.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
